Gibson reveils new Tony Iommi SG

Gibson has teamed up with legendary Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi to create theTony Iommi “Monkey” SG. The guitar’s handmade pickups were wound by an apprentice of late pickup master John Birch. The Iommi “Monkey” SG features an exclusive replica of the Sabbath guitarist’s silver cross necklace with a coffin case, a replica of Iommi’s leather touring guitar strap and a ’60s replica case. The price of the Gibson Tony Iommi “Monkey” SG – which will be produced in a run of 50 instruments, 25 left-handed and 25 right-handed – has not yet been revealed.
